Aastha graduated from Rato Bangla School in 2003. She attended Carleton College in Canada for her undergraduate study. After completing her BA honors, Aastha decided to join Nepal Law Campus for LLB because she wanted to practice law in Nepal. She was called to the bar in 2012 and joined Cambridge University (2015), completing her MPhil in Criminology. She continued her Ph.D. in Criminology at Cambridge University which she completed in 2020. Aastha has worked in areas of domestic violence, armed conflict, and prosecution services, (against) police torture, human rights training, and indigenous peoples’ rights. She is currently teaching at Kathmandu University and also practices law.
Avidit is an associate professor at Stanford University, where he holds appointments in both the political science department and the business school. He earned his Ph.D. in political economy from Princeton University in 2012 and his BA in economics and mathematics from Yale University in 2006. He taught in the economics and political science departments of the University of Rochester for two years before joining the Stanford faculty in 2014.
Neha graduated from Rato Bangala School in 2009. She attended Lady Shri Ram College for her undergraduate study and Postgraduate in the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Akanchha Karki graduated from Rato Bangala School in 2009. She went to Christ University in Bangalore, India for her undergraduate study. After completing her BA in Performing Arts, she did her Masters in counseling psychology. She is a founder of Katha Ghera Production and is acting as a Theatre Director. She also directed a play based on the children’s book Ghumghaam ko Dhumdhaam by Mr. Kanak Mani Dixit.
Prajwal graduated from Rato Bangala School in 2007. He attended NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad, India. After completing his law degree, he went to study European Master’s in Law and Economics as a part of Erasmus. He studied a term each in Germany, Netherlands, and Israel. He worked as a Legal Manager at ICICI Bank and then as an Oxford Policy Fellow at the Ministry of Finance in Uganda. Currently, he is working as a faculty member at Kathmandu University School of Law.
Animesh graduated from Rato Bangala School in 2003. He attended St. Lawrence University. After completing his degree, he did his PhD. in Economics from Emory University. He is currently an economist at Cornerstone Research as a consultant on litigation matters.
