The faculty at Rato Bangala work on creating a nurturing environment for every learner from preschool through A-Level.
The school invests in the capacity building of its staff. Regular professional development sessions are organized for teachers to develop higher-level skills and keep abreast with the latest innovations in education.
Several senior faculty members have taken Master's-level courses in education at the Bank Street College of Education in New York and observed Bank Street School classrooms. They have applied the knowledge and skills they learned in their classrooms and also shared this information with other teachers through the teacher training courses offered at Rato Bangala. Rato Bangala teachers also receive training by visiting Bank Street faculty every summer.
In addition, faculty members take courses offered by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the University of Applied Research and Development. In addition, Rato Bangala houses a Teacher Training Institute at the Rato Bangala Foundation, where teachers get to take courses as student teachers and train other teachers as instructors. The Rato Bangala Foundation collaborates with Bank Street College of Education in New York, USA, and Kathmandu University.
